harder to maintain than delete and recreate.

so The LORD has been good to me.

I am blessed with a house,  a wife, a job and the Internet. and I have come upon this realization.

indeed, it is much easier to make something anew than keep and maintain. for example, making of wine. the creation of the wine itself involves waiting for the seed to sprout, harvesting,  fermenting, crushing and storing. yet, a well maintained wine is the best.

so this blog… I’ve had many blogs and many friends.  all of which I’ve found it
harder to maintain hence made new blogs and more friends.

inexcusable. I feel quite foolish . but what is done is done. I want to start appreciating people who are precious to me.

1st Week of Marriage in Singapore

Surely this one week was one of the most interesting weeks ever.

Living in with my wife in Singapore, where we have things to do, e.g. make the bed, sweep the floor, wash the clothes, do the groceries etc.

It is really very different from living alone the way I have been for the past two months.

I can’t really seem to do my own thing in peace. I wonder if that comes with marriage.

So many things I want to do but I don’t know how to start.

Rolling an alliance druid on Frostmourne- Oceanic but it feels really strange. I never thought I would do that.

Work wise, I will be entering a transition phase soon. It is starting to feel a little uncomfortable, but I trust Jesus that everything will be alright.

Surprisingly maintaining a blog isn’t as simple as I thought. I thought it was just type and go, but nooooo.

I want to upload media but most of it is stored in my phone and it is really annoying to transfer just to upload. There has to be a better way to do this.

Monday, Tuesday – I went to work, it was fun. I will definitely miss my colleagues. Thinking about leaving them makes me sad, but I hope we will stay in touch.

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday – I worked from home. Apparently Business Continuity Management (BCM) week is good for me.

Going to work on them challenge mode transcripts now!

I wonder if there is a way to revitalize the horde forces on Thaurissan – Oceanic…

Calling forth things that are not yet seen

So I’ve rolled a night elf druid on Frostmourne – Oceanic. That feels strange. Like, I’ve always hated combating druids because of how seemingly broken that class is.

First of many I suppose. Sigh. I accidentally boosted my druid to 90. I wanted to test and see how it works, and Blizzard asked me to verify myself. My screen turned whitish and I just did the verification. I didn’t know that was a purchase for the boost.

Anyway, with that, I have a level 90 night elf druid. Yay. Only 10 more levels to go.

Somethings that come with the 90 boost:

  1. level 90 (duh..)
  2. epic flying (280% speed flying, leaving you to pay 5k gold to get 310% flying)
  3. BAGS! bigger slot bags! 18 or 20 slots I think. Can’t quite remember off hand.
  4. Some gear….
  5. thats about it!

I need to finish reading my book, write my vision, update the challenge mode transcripts and study for MCST test.

Got to stop being so hung up on WoW. I do like playing, its just I really have more things to do IRL.

That being said… LFM CHALLENGE MODE MEMBERS!

First time to Sunday service as a married couple

It’s Sunday! So. unlike the past where I had my whole day to myself. now I have my wife with me.

where the time I used to play video games happily for the entire game, now I have events lined up which are important to us individually as a couple. this feels strange somewhat. I like to have time on my own still. but I kind of don’t mind living for another person as well.

about Wow its kind of sad that as a level 100 tank, I no longer have instant queues. 😦

my wife and I took picture with our local member of Parliament this morning. I didn’t want to. but she made me do it.

He seems like a nice enough person. growing up I never really bothered about the community I was brought up in.  hopefully that will change in time.

we are at causeway point now so I gotta run. will write more later… blackboard!

Bali

day 2 in bali.

My wife and I walked a lot. she’s very tired now so we’re just chilling at Starbucks.  so wierd. I can’t seem to find any local tea to drink. it’s quite sad. they only drink lipton bags of tea.

so grateful to live in Singapore.  got teh. teh o. teh o siew tai. teh tarik. teh halia. it’s the best.

juwell. haha well that’s alright.

having some problems communicating with the local community but that’s alright.

there’s a lot of things to see but not much to buy apparently. haha the concept of shopping malls is very different!

gonna spend time with my lovely wife walking around seminyak square, bali.

peace!

Married life… So busy.

So. Yesterday, my wife Amy and I were married.

After the ceremonies, my wife was hungry so it was not pleasant.

I had asked her to eat, but she did not want to. It’s a little bit annoying, but we all make our own choices.

So many tasks on hand to do. I am worried about so many things.

All of these things. Are they considered things that I perceive I can lose?

I don’t want to live life safe. I still want to live my dreams. But I am afraid of what the unknown holds.

Living a safe life, being a normal salary man… I can see a dead end there. It is miserable.
As my wife and I take a step into unknown territories of life, I pray that everything will work out.

Heading off to do banking. No time for world of warcraft today either. 😦 Maybe after our honeymoon…

A hectic day, a frantic run for love

So. In my head, there was one question that was popping up recently.

“When am I going to get my Aftershock Laptop?”

The beauty trapped in a picture, frozen in time... Aftershock S15 with its beautiful aluminium chasis

Aftershock PCs have to undergo assembly and testing before they are released to end consumers such as myself.
That could be why it was taking… 1 Friday. 1 Monday. Maybe 1 Tuesday.

Actually, I had a lot of things I had to do…

  1. Write my thank you speech
  2. Pack my bags to stay over on Friday (before my wedding)
  3. Do housework (Sweep & mop the house. Wipe the fan blades)
  4. Burn an image onto a CD to be used for our wedding playlist
  5. And my normal work of course (since I am an employee)

So. I managed to do… None of the above. Except for work of course. I really am a normal guy!

Anyway. Going to attempt to SEO my site for Warlords of draenor challenge mode!

Wish me luck!

“Times change”

So as Garrosh Hellscream said when he went back in time.

I set aside my day to spend time with my best friend as it is his birthday, only to be told via SMS by his girlfriend that “I have plans for today in advance. Don’t message him anymore.” or something like that. SIGH. I have no intention of sowing discord between my best friend and his girlfriend. But as times change, people change.

I would complain, except I have no right to. Given that I am the one who has changed most of all.

That being said, life goes on.

LFM CHALLENGE MODES for WARLORDS OF DRAENOR! (need heals & rdps)

LF friends to play with and hang out with while being alive.

As the wow login screen says:

My friends who brought me to Azeroth are living their own life now.

I guess instead of depending on them, its time to step out of the shadow and make new friends, just as they are.

I will never forget you my brother. But life must go on.

Well… that being ranted, here is my main topic for today!

How does marriage change your life?

I am getting married in 7 days. And I am kind of freaking out.

I know these are some things that will change for sure:

  1. Less WOW time.
  2. More housework time.
  3. More bills.
  4. I will become more tidy. (Due to my wife being a very organised person.)
  5. More food in the fridge and cupboards.

I am kind of sad. But happy at the same time.

Life is progressing. Kind of.

If there is someone reading this blog, do share your comments on how marriage has changed your life!
